Neuro DoWo in a glimpse
Since the foundation by Randolf Menzel, Hans-Joachim Pflüger, and Joachim Erber in 1990, the Neuro DoWo provides an international platform for project discussion and networking among PhD students from all branches of neuroscience. The workshop is entirely organised and conducted by students of the respective year’s host university and traditionally includes evening lectures by two internationally renowned scientists within their research fields.
Exactly 10 years after Würzburg hosted the Neuro DoWo for the last time, we have the honor to bring the meeting back to Franconia. Right now, there are more than 40 different working groups at the University of Würzburg that have focused their research on neuroscientific topics, including genetics, behavior, physiology, anatomy, cellular and molecular biology and clinical neuroscience. That made Würzburg a rich environment for students and researchers specialized in neurosciences.
A friendly event for all of us
The organization of the 30th Neuro DoWo is already in full swing. Our goal is to provide a comfortable but professional environment for a scientific exchange among PhD students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.
We hope to meet and discuss with you at the Neuro DoWo from 28th to 30th of August.
