Who can participate?
All PhD students who think their work is somehow related to neuroscience!
I will finish my PhD before the Meeting / I'm not yet a PhD student. Can I still attend the Meeting?
Unfortunately the NeuroDoWo is restricted to PhD students. So if you finish your thesis before the meeting you cannot attend.
If you are not yet a PhD student you cannot register for the meeting. However, if you are a master student and plan to beginn a PhD in neuroscience you can email us after the registration deadline. In that case we might give you a positive feedback for attending the meeting, if we still have spare capacity. In any case you will be required to book your own accomodation.
Do I have to present something or can I just listen to talks?
One important aspect of the NeuroDoWo is the opportunity to present your work, results and problems to other PhD students with similar interests. You can choose if you want to do this in the form of a poster or a short talk.
How long should the talks be?
The talk should be 15min + 5min discussion.
What is the maximum poster size?
Maximum poster size should be DIN A0.
Do I have to register somewhere?
Yes, see the Registration page.
Is there a registration fee?
Yes, the registration fee is 65€ and covers 2x lunch, 2x dinner and public transportation in Berlin.
Where do we sleep?
Accomodation and breakfast at the youth hostel is available (free of charge), just check the corresponding option in the registration form.
Do I have to submit a talk/poster abstract?
Yes, the abstract must be provided during the registration.
Is there a deadline for Registration?
The Registration deadline is May 31st.
What are the adresses of the hostel and the conference venue?
