About the Neurobiology Doctoral Students Workshop

The NeuroDoWo has been organized by doctoral candidates for over 30 years under the patronage of the German Neuroscience Society. Our aim is to reach early career scientists with a diverse neuroscientific background, from Germany and abroad. The conference promotes communication across disciplines and to allow young scientists to gain experience in presenting and discussing their research in a talk or with a scientific poster. This year's NeuroDoWo will be held in Konstanz, May 2nd - 5th 2023.

Thank you!

A BIG THANK YOU to our participants who presented their fascinating PhD research in the form of a talk or poster! It was so great to meet you all and get to know the cool science you do!
As tradition goes with the NeuroDoWo, the city with the most number of participants attending gets to host the next year's meeting! The NeuroDoWo Hammer is now passed onto Leipzig. Congratulations Leipzig! See you all in Leipzig next year.

Personal info

We hope you are as excited as we are, because NeuroDoWo 2023 is getting closer!

Right now, we need some information from you to prepare your nametags, and collect our order for the final BBQ in Konstanz' most lovely biergarten.

Note that this is not a registration for the NeuroDoWo itself - the registrations are closed.

Our Workshops

The #NeuroDoWo2023 will also have workshops apart from the organised talks from our keynote speakers! Well, what are they? And how are they going to benefit you - a PhD student of neuroscience? Not only will the workshops be a place of scientific exchange but also a great space to learn and grow your career! Click here to find out more.

Fourth Keynote Speaker: Emilie Macé

Our final keynote speaker at #NeuroDoWo2023 will be Emilie Macé, Max Planck Research Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute for Behavioral Intelligence in Munich, Germany! We are delighted to host her in Konstanz, and discuss with her the exciting science she does in her lab! Does this research fascinate you and do you want to meet Dr Macé? Wait not! Register and apply to our NeuroDoWo workshop, exclusive for neurobiology PhDs!
