About the Neurobiology Doctoral Students Workshop

The NeuroDoWo has been organized by doctoral candidates for over 30 years under the patronage of the German Zoological Society (Deutsche Zoologische Gesellschaft, DZG) and German Neuroscience Society (Neurowissenschaftliche Gesellschaft e.V.). Our aim is to reach early career scientists with a diverse neuroscientific background, from Germany and abroad. The conference promotes communication across disciplines and to allow young scientists to gain experience in presenting and discussing their research in a talk or with a scientific poster. The NeuroDoWo 2025 will take place in Munich

Keynote speaker

Drumroll, please! We're thrilled to announce Maximina Yun from the CRTD-TU Dresden & MPI-CBG as our first keynote speaker for NeuroDoWo 2024!
Brace yourselves for a captivating talk on fundamental principles of regeneration and ageing in salamanders. More surprises await – watch this space!

Thank you!

A BIG THANK YOU to our participants who presented their fascinating PhD research in the form of a talk or poster! It was so great to meet you all and get to know the cool science you do!
As tradition goes with the NeuroDoWo, the city with the most number of participants attending gets to host the next year's meeting! The NeuroDoWo Hammer is now passed onto Leipzig. Congratulations Leipzig! See you all in Leipzig next year.
